~RARE JAR~ HARPO MARX IN ALL HIS GOOGLIE EYED GLORY by REGAL CHINA. No maker mark on the underside as this is consistent with this limited production jar. The limited production made this jar very rare. There is a nearly identical knock off of this jar that was made about the same time in Japan. The Japanese version has brown hair while this one, made in the US by Regal China, has white hair. It’s amazing what subtle changes that can be made to avoid copy write infringements! This is a fine example of the Regal China Harpo Marx. No chips, no cracks, no hairlines or other damage. All paint is 99% intact. Very clean & I don’t think this was ever used for cookies. I don’t even see many or any craze lines! This looks and feels like fine china as Regal China products were known to be. While Harpo Marx was a star in his own right, you need to buy this jar, take him home and make him a star in your jar collection! Book value is $1500+ but our price offers you a huge discount! Take advantage now & add him to your collection. A must have for the novice or seasoned collector! Would make a great addition to your “star” jar collection! ~The extra shipping cost is due to the extra insurance expense.~
