RARE JAR! Here’s one you don’t see everyday! Little Red Riding Hood by Weiss. Marked on the underside “Weiss, Hand Painted, Made in Brazil”. No chips, no cracks, no hairlines or other damage. Interesting rendition of the Red Riding Hood jar. Not commonly known or seen very often. This is a rather large jar in comparison to other RRH jars. She is rather “wide” and she has a large head. A step away from the more delicate RRH look. I don’t think this was ever used for cookies, its very clean! You don’t see many jars even today that were made in Brazil! I don’t recall any other jar that this company, Weiss, ever made. At least none with any notoriety as did the Red Riding Hood jar have. This jar was to this company like some rock songs out of the 50s or 60s as they called them, “one hit wonders”. Nice vintage jar that was likely manufactured in the 70s. Sought after by beginners as well as seasoned collectors alike.
This jar comes with a handmade cleaning cloth, too, to help protect the finish on your fine, aging collectables like this fine jar. We make them ourselves with very soft hand woven materials and these will last and last for you not just for this jar but any fine item like this, china, porcelain silverware, almost anything! Nice thing right now in addition to a free cleaning cloth is … he’s on SALE! Holidays are coming and these jars make great gifts. We can ship them to the anticipated recipient for you & send the tracking information to you so you can follow its journey!

I know you’re looking forward to owning this little guy and the best part is that he doesn’t require anything but a little dusting once in a while … that’s what the soft cloth is for!
