Abingdon Little Old Lady Collector Cookie Jar; Marked on the bottom “Abingdon USA” and the impressed number #471″. This jar is in superb condition sporting great colors. Nice high quality “ring” when you tap it, sounds like the ring of fine china. No chips, no cracks or any after-market defects. Crazing is very light and this jar is VERY clean. May well have been just a shelf-sitter for most or all of her life! What more can I say? Abingdon jars have been highly sought after in the world of collectors for many, many years! Pfaltzgraph Little Miss Muffit Collector Cookie Jar. Made from the original Abingdon cookie jar mold. When Abingdon sold out and closed, their molds were also sold to other companies and used again. This fine jar has all the quality and appearance that the original Abingdon Little Bo Peep CJ has / had even though that its made by an old US company (since the early 19th Century) known as Pfaltzgraph. There is no mark to identify it other than the fact it is unmarked. Taken directly from the original Abingdon mold! No chips, no cracks or hairlines. The jar does, however, have some minor staining from cookie grease, which is typical & usually found in these older jars & a couple of minor clear glaze runs from the factory that are only noticed if you look hard for them. Nothing to be alarmed about & certainly does not take away from the value. Very nice jar for any collector either advanced or novice. A very solid jar! Abingdon:  Cookie Sack, Collector Cookie Jar. Superb condition! Some crazing showing on the jar and the lid but no cracks, no chips, no damage to report. Just a nice vintage jar that is surely to bring back memories from Grandma’s house! This is a heavy, well-made, substantial jar. Well known name, Abingdon, and highly sought after collectable! Bottom is marked with the typical Abingdon mark/name. Worthy of any collection! Abingdon: Three Bears Collector Cookie Jar! Super nice condition, no chips, no cracks. Colors are strong, nice detail. Up close, you can see details that are intended to produce a “fuzzy hair” on the bears’ heads. Unmarked as some of these jars are inevitably, however, this is clearly Abingdon. Has a nice “ring” to it when tapping it, the sound of fine china. It does have the typical Abingdon “dimple” on the underside in the center of the bottom. Nice jar. Great for any collection! Abingdon: Humpty Dumpty CJ. This jar is about as clean and perfect of this style jar as you will find anywhere! I don’t think that it was ever used as a cookie jar. No cookie grease stains in the jar base.  On the underside is the impressed number “663″.  Be assured, it is there. This is a heavy and substantial jar. Very colorful and ready for display!
