American Bisque AKA ABC: Baby Chick with Tam CJ. Beautiful colors! Great condition! They made two styles of this jar. The other style of this jar, the Chick’s tam (hat) is the lid, while this one the entire head is the lid. Again, very beautiful, colorful jar. Another one that I don’t believe was used very much. American Bisque Boy with Churn Collector Cookie Jar .. another highly collectable, hard to find early jar made by American Bisque. Wonderful rich colors, no chips, no cracks. Some early marks on the underside are likely indications of an early sale price for the jar. Marked simply “USA” as most of the American Bisque Jars were. American Bisque “ABC” Chalkboard Clown Collector Cookie Jar. Fun, friendly, colorful jar! On the front above his chalkboard it says “don’t forget” while on the back it says “try mom’s cookies”., making for a more interesting jar. Again, a “baby boomer” jar, a jar many of us grew up with during a time when mom cared enough to bake real cookies! No chips (or chocolate chips, either, but includes a smidgen of the cookie grease from mom’s chocolate chips in the bottom), no cracks, no hairlines or other damage. Jar is in superb condition with the exception of some minor paint loss as seen on his face. Chalkboard is very clean very well displaying that it likely was never used. “Magnet” intact in upper right corner of chalkboard. Bottom side is marked “Patent Pending USA”, very typical mark for this jar. Wonderful jar, fantastic condition! Part of a series of “chalkboard” jars made by ABC. If you have the other three, complete your collection with this great jar, or, if you don’t have any of them, start your series collection with him! American Bisque / Ungemach “Bambi” or Fawn at the Stump Collector Cookie Jar. This jar is in brilliant color & superb condition. It looks like it just came out of the box. No chips, no cracks, no damage of any kind at all! This one is a long-time favorite of beginners as well as advanced collectors. It will be a very long time before you find one like this in this condition. Marked on the back-side “USA”, it also has the typical base recognized as an Ungemach trademark.
