Strawberry Shortcake by American Greetings, Cleveland, Ohio, Collector Cookie Jar. Extremely difficult to find jar but here she is in all of her strawberry glory! No chips, no cracks, no hairlines. Strong colors. Very fanciful collector jar sought after by all levels of collectors. This colorful classic is signed American Greetings, Cleveland Ohio on the under side (sorry that pic came out blurry) and dated 1983. Her dress is mottled and colored to look like a strawberry, everything about this jar says “strawberry”. Kind of reminds me of “Precious Moments” figures, doesn’t she? Book value has pumped up to around $1500 for this beautiful classic, but you can have her for a fraction of that price here and now! Worthy of any collection! Her she is folks! Metlox Red Riding Hood Collector Cookie Jar. This is the real thing folks! Jar is appropriately marked on the underside as “Poppy Trail Calif” She is totally damage-free! No chips, no cracks and no hairlines. Crazing if any is very minimal. She does have a touch of factory overspray white color on the crease of her cloak on the front, otherwise, this jar is fantastic! The red cape color is deep and stunning! Highly sought after and otherwise very difficult to find collector jar. Here she is for less than half of the book value which has been noted at nearly $1500. Elsie the Cow aka Beulah the Calf Collector Cookie Jar. This jar has no maker mark and we have no idea of maker or origin but it is most definitely a vintage jar. This jar does bear a striking and more precise resemblance to the Beulah the Calf Metlox jar, however, it has no talker in the lid. If this is or was a Metlox jar, the talker was obviously removed. It’s a very solid, well-made jar with superb colors and in superb condition, no chips, no cracks or hairlines. This could be the foreign made version of Beulah the Calf CJ. Whoever made this dynamite jar did so with precision, superb colors and details. Still an all time favorite jar for collectors of all levels. A must for any collection! Brush Humpty Dumpty Collector Cookie Jar …. Another great, highly collectable, hard to find early Brush jar. This jar is nearly pristine, no chips, no cracks and no cookie grease! Doraanne of California Cow Over the Moon Collector Cookie Jar. This jar is in pristine, unused condition! The cow hopping over the moon makes this jar a very imposing and predominate jar in any collection, its almost top heavy! This is the harder to find olive green color. Marked near the bottom rim, “J@ USA”. No chips no cracks and crazing is minimal. This jar is a must for any collectors display!
