American Bisque Swee Pea (or as some call him Sweet Pea) Collector Cookie Jar. Yes! He is an original, flawless, RARE American Bisque Swee Pea Cookie jar, marked simply “USA” sporting the typical ABC wedges on the base. No chips, no cracks but he does have the usual crazing that comes with jars of this age. I never understood why they put a bee on his butt, but, its there and unlike many of these jars, this bee is perfect. Many of these jars lost the “bee” a long time ago due to carelessness. Of course another problem was the nose being broken, too.  Look at the photos closely! He’s a fantastic New Year baby! HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER RARE JAR FOR BOTH NOVICE AS WELL AS SEASONED COLLECTOR! Sergeant Snorkel from Beetle Bailey by Enesco Collector Cookie Jar. Fantastic likeness of “Sarge”, Sergeant Snorkel from the Beetle Bailey comic strip we all grew up reading in the Sunday paper! As I said in the Beetle Bailey write up, I remember every Sunday after church, mom & I went to the news-stand, she gave me 15 c & I went in to buy the Sunday paper. There were always 2 sections of comic strips! Today, we’re lucky if we get one 2-page section while then, there were 2 sections with several pages of great comic strips! This jar is a PERFECT if not BETTER likeness of Sergeant Snorkel except with this jar, he’s holding a chocolate chip cookie. Superb color, quality & detail. This is another almost life-sized, very LARGE jar. Like Beetle, this jar is becoming VERY difficult to find & is quickly going up the ladder of popularity and price! A great tribute again to the quality, color, and detail that Enesco is so well known for! Beetle Bailey by Enesco Collector Cookie Jar. Beetle Bailey…from the comic strip we all grew up reading in the Sunday paper! Very quickly running up the rungs of popularity, this jar is by no means a stooge! From a meager issue price of about $19, this jar now sells for well over $150! Perfect condition, no chips or cracks! The 3 Stooges as we always remembered them…beating on and picking on each other! Great colors & fine life-like details of each of our three favorite comedians! Pfaltzgraph Little Miss Muffit Collector Cookie Jar. Made from the original Abingdon cookie jar mold. When Abingdon sold out and closed, their molds were also sold to other companies and used again. This fine jar has all the quality and appearance that the original Abingdon Little Bo Peep CJ has / had even though that its made by an old US company (since the early 19th Century) known as Pfaltzgraph. There is no mark to identify it other than the fact it is unmarked. Taken directly from the original Abingdon mold! No chips, no cracks or hairlines. The jar does, however, have some minor staining from cookie grease, which is typical & usually found in these older jars & a couple of minor clear glaze runs from the factory that are only noticed if you look hard for them. Nothing to be alarmed about & certainly does not take away from the value. Very nice jar for any collector either advanced or novice. A very solid jar!
