Sergeant Snorkel from Beetle Bailey by Enesco Collector Cookie Jar. Fantastic likeness of “Sarge”, Sergeant Snorkel from the Beetle Bailey comic strip we all grew up reading in the Sunday paper! As I said in the Beetle Bailey write up, I remember every Sunday after church, mom & I went to the news-stand, she gave me 15 c & I went in to buy the Sunday paper. There were always 2 sections of comic strips! Today, we’re lucky if we get one 2-page section while then, there were 2 sections with several pages of great comic strips! This jar is a PERFECT if not BETTER likeness of Sergeant Snorkel except with this jar, he’s holding a chocolate chip cookie. Superb color, quality & detail. This is another almost life-sized, very LARGE jar. Like Beetle, this jar is becoming VERY difficult to find & is quickly going up the ladder of popularity and price! A great tribute again to the quality, color, and detail that Enesco is so well known for! Enesco: Rudolph & The Island of Misfit Toys Collector Cookie Jar. Signed on the bottom as previously stated. Here’s one for the baby boomers! Remember the animated cartoon back in the 60s, Rudolph with the puppet-like figures? This jar is a replication of the Rudolph in that cartoon! Beautiful, very clean, very crisp colors and quality typical for Enesco jars. No chips, no cracks, just one colorful, wonderful jar. I really think the wreath around his neck is really a beautiful touch! I don’t think he’s ever been used for anything but display. Its already out of production and very quickly climbing the ladder for being a scarce, collectable jar! Enesco Mr. & Mrs. Santa Clause Collector Cookie Jar
Enesco: Santa & Mrs. Clause Collector Cookie Jar. Superb detail, I applaud the manufacturer! Unfortunately, I have no conclusive proof that this jar is attributed to Enesco, or, any particular company for that matter. Someone suggested that it was Enesco based on the high quality of the jar & motif. I took it on since I thought the detail, color and expression was absolutely wonderful and very poignant as they share the heart shaped cookie. Absolutely no damage, no chips or cracks. Just a wonderful jar for a very reasonable price! Buy it quick….Christmas is almost here! Wonderful jar for your kids…can put it with cookies in it and a glass of milk next to the chair Santa is expected to sit in near the tree. Tell your kids that he will think highly of them since your kids wanted him to feel at home that special night with Mrs. Clause by his side. Let them experience the magic of sharing and of Christmas! Enesco Lighthouse Collector Cookie Jar
Enesco: Lighthouse motif cookie jar. This is a fine jar, fairly new, but nonetheless a great looking jar. Has a lighthouse near the ocean, with gulls flying above. Also has fish about the rim of the lid. This jar is great for a gift or to have as a centerpiece on your lanai, Florida room, deck, breakfast nook. Will help set a pleasant mood!
