McCoy Christmas Tree Collector Cookie Jar. Here it is, one of the most highly sought after collector cookie jars! The McCoy Christmas Tree, made in or about 1959. Still retains the majority of its cold-painted colors, too! No chips, no cracks or hairlines. Beautiful example of this jar! It almost appears that this jar was likely a shelf-sitter all of its life and maybe only came out for an annual appearance at Christmas time! Signed “McCoy USA” on the bottom. This jar also has an “interlocking lid” to help keep it in place, better. The lid and base have corresponding notches for this. See photos. Deep rich green color with some light spray of silver on the tips of the branches to give the appearance of “snow”. The baubles are highlighted in reds and yellows that are cold-painted along with the silver touch. A very beautiful, wonderful, well-made jar sought by novices and advanced collectors alike! Phillips Snowman Collector Cookie Jar. Maker actually unknown, but I would believe this was a custom made, one of a kind jar made exclusively for a family with the name “Phillips”. Is your family name Phillips? If so, this is a must have …. You can boast to your friends how important you are since your name is on a custom made cookie jar! The images including the snow is done in a sort of raised “relief” style that you can actually feel. No chips, no cracks or other damage. The scene is set with a snowman standing amidst pine trees, sort of like the scene on the animated Rudolf the Rednosed Reindeer kiddy show with Burl Ives while it snows. You can see the snow settling down on the land, the trees and snowman. The edge of the base rim, the lid edge and knob is adorned with a spongeware style mottling. Very heavy, substantial, attractive jar! C’mon Mr. Or Mrs. Phillips, buy this jar for your pride and display! Pumpkin Cookie Jar with MATCHING creamer, milk pitcher & tea pot! Maker unknown, but this is a beautiful set at a GREAT price for all four pieces!! We got this set together from an estate and decided it was not fair to break it up. This set is about 20 – 25 years old. I’ve had the jar a few times in the past. The pitcher has a small flake right near the pouring lip. This is the only piece that has any real “damage”. Its on the inside of the lip. I’ve circled the spot and put an arrow to it in one photo. Some of the other pieces have some very miniscule paint flakes missing that are barely noticed…in the photos they might show up as a “camera flash” but there aren’t many and these are not damage to the pottery material. This is a very attractive set. You get four pieces for the one purchase price or as the auctioneers say, “4 pieces for one money”.  The cookie jar is quite large and very attractive.  The entire set would be very attractive shown off on your countertop esp around Halloween time. This is a great fall decorator set for sure! There are a lot of photos that go with this set, so, be patient to allow them to load. Each piece is pictured. We might have to send an additional shipping fee bill for a few dollars extra since there are so many pieces with this set but I am sure it won’t be a lot more. Lenox: Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer Collector Cookie Jar. Rudolph sits atop a pile of Christmas gifts. This is a wonderful jar displaying great colors, a very festive jar with fine details. We all know the wonderful quality that Lenox is known for. Comes with the original box! Never used. Even retains the original suggested retail price sticker! This is another more modern jar that is quickly gaining popularity as well as realizing an increase in value! Beautiful example of this particular jar! Enesco: Santa & Mrs. Clause Collector Cookie Jar. Superb detail, I applaud the manufacturer! Unfortunately, I have no conclusive proof that this jar is attributed to Enesco, or, any particular company for that matter. Someone suggested that it was Enesco based on the high quality of the jar & motif. I took it on since I thought the detail, color and expression was absolutely wonderful and very poignant as they share the heart shaped cookie. Absolutely no damage, no chips or cracks. Just a wonderful jar for a very reasonable price! Buy it quick….Christmas is almost here! Wonderful jar for your kids…can put it with cookies in it and a glass of milk next to the chair Santa is expected to sit in near the tree. Tell your kids that he will think highly of them since your kids wanted him to feel at home that special night with Mrs. Clause by his side. Let them experience the magic of sharing and of Christmas!
