Pumpkin Cookie Jar with MATCHING creamer, milk pitcher & tea pot! Maker unknown, but this is a beautiful set at a GREAT price for all four pieces!! We got this set together from an estate and decided it was not fair to break it up. This set is about 20 – 25 years old. I’ve had the jar a few times in the past. The pitcher has a small flake right near the pouring lip. This is the only piece that has any real “damage”. Its on the inside of the lip. I’ve circled the spot and put an arrow to it in one photo. Some of the other pieces have some very miniscule paint flakes missing that are barely noticed…in the photos they might show up as a “camera flash” but there aren’t many and these are not damage to the pottery material. This is a very attractive set. You get four pieces for the one purchase price or as the auctioneers say, “4 pieces for one money”.  The cookie jar is quite large and very attractive.  The entire set would be very attractive shown off on your countertop esp around Halloween time. This is a great fall decorator set for sure! There are a lot of photos that go with this set, so, be patient to allow them to load. Each piece is pictured. We might have to send an additional shipping fee bill for a few dollars extra since there are so many pieces with this set but I am sure it won’t be a lot more. Pfaltzgraph Little Miss Muffit Collector Cookie Jar. Made from the original Abingdon cookie jar mold. When Abingdon sold out and closed, their molds were also sold to other companies and used again. This fine jar has all the quality and appearance that the original Abingdon Little Bo Peep CJ has / had even though that its made by an old US company (since the early 19th Century) known as Pfaltzgraph. There is no mark to identify it other than the fact it is unmarked. Taken directly from the original Abingdon mold! No chips, no cracks or hairlines. The jar does, however, have some minor staining from cookie grease, which is typical & usually found in these older jars & a couple of minor clear glaze runs from the factory that are only noticed if you look hard for them. Nothing to be alarmed about & certainly does not take away from the value. Very nice jar for any collector either advanced or novice. A very solid jar! Smokey the Bear or Ranger Bear by Cumberland Ware Collector Cookie Jar. Cumberland Ware was also known as “Roman Ceramics”. This company is also responsible for the manufacture of other fine highly collectable jars such as W.C.Fields, Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy & the very popular Star Wars jar R2D2. This jar is signed on the underside with a “CW USA”. Not many of these jar retain their cold painted accents that help bring this jar to life such as the eyes, nose, bow tie, etc. This jar is known by some as “Ranger Bear” while to others the pinched forester’s hat says this jar is “Smokey the Bear”.  An impressive jar by design and also by size, this is a very large jar. No chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no paint loss. Muted colors will match this jar up with most any décor or theme in your home. This jar is already quite popular and quickly becoming very difficult to find in any condition! Pixie Collector Cookie Jar Maker unknown at this time. This is a VERY large, generous jar. It stands about 13 inches tall and is quite wide/bulbous. Its quite elegant in its very simplistic, uncomplicated design!! A brownish speckled color overall. Nice condition with no chips or cracks. I have had this jar several times and at one point I did see it in the book but I’ll be jarred if I can find it right now! Simple Pixie design embedded and embossed in black on the front of the jar. Three Pixies almost like it was intended to be the Pixies’ equivalent to The Three Bears! Mama, papa & baby Pixie. Baby Pixie (far left) is holding what appears to be a balloon.  If you like Pixies, this jar is guaranteed to please. Will hold a very generous supply of cookies if you choose for this to be more than a shelf-sitter. Twin Winton: Child in Shoe or Old Lady in Shoe Collector Cookie Jar. Twin Winton, well known for their brown matte finish jars. This is one of them, no chips, no cracks. See the “child” sticking his head out of the window toward the front of the shoe? Bottom is signed Twin Winton. Did you know that the Twin Winton Brothers were the designers for many of the Brush cookie jars singed with a “W” on the underside? Here’s a great newer jar from the 70s for your collection!
