Cookies All Over Cylinder Collector Cookie Jar
Cookies All Over Cylinder Collector Cookie Jar with pretzel finial on lid. Well, pretzels are easier to eat than walnuts. Unknown maker…..the debate over this jar has gone on for a long time as to who made it. Its signed simply, “USA”, which leads many to believe it could have been made by Shawnee, perhaps McCoy or even American Bisque. Whoever made it did a fantastic job to in their own way copy the Los Angeles Pottery cookies all over jar and the Napco jar. Buy all three of these nice jars, Napco, LA Pottery and this one marked USA and set them together. Would offer a great look and you’ll have all 3 of some of the fastest growing in popularity & priced jars today! Great jar for any beginner or advanced collector. To clean these jars, we highly recommend that you purchase one of our cleaning cloths listed under the “HANDCRAFTED TEXTILES AND POTTERY LINK NEAR THE TOP OF THE HOME PAGE. They’re only $6.99 and crafted entirely by hand. These are soft cloths that will not scratch the surfaces esp for the cold painted jars. If purchased with a jar, there will be no additional shipping fees. If you are so charged for shipping this will be refunded to you if you have purchased one with one of our jars. Napco Carousel Collector Cookie Jar
Napco: Carousel Collector Cookie Jar. Hi, not totally sure that this jar was made by Napco, but it surely very closely resembles the Napco Carousel jar listed in the book. Variations were always a standard in most cases when companies made jars, for example, the motif or pattern was the same, but perhaps a different color of the same style jar. I’m convinced that this is either a Napco jar or a Japanese made jar from the really nice quality & the overall color & design. Unfortunately, there is no mark to identify the maker. There is some minor staining from cookie grease, visible in some of the photos showing the sides and underside. No chips, no cracks or hairlines but does have some light crazing. I like this jar, it’s a really fun jar. I took photos of the different sides. The jar is round but it has 5 different panels & is supposed to resemble a carousel or merry-go-round. It evens has the small flag n the tip top of the lid, just like the Napco jar does! In my opinion, a fun and attractive jar that no matter who made it, I’m sure you will still be extremely pleased to own it! The book value on the Napco jar is $150 and with that, we’ve priced this at about half! NAPCO (Little) Red Riding Hood Collector Cookie Jar
Napco: Little Red Riding Hood collector cookie jar. One of the most popular Red Riding Hood jars, this one is right on top in the collector’s list of must-have jars. No chips, no cracks. She bears the numbers on the underside; “K2292 Napco 1957 & JC” Still retains the best portion of the foil label, too! There are a couple of spots on the hood that originated with the manufacturer where the paint is a tad darker than the rest of the hood, like the airbrush shot a double dose of paint. Otherwise, this is one beautiful jar and a fine example to have in your collection. I’m betting this has been a shelf sitter all her life and has never been used; most likely remains a virgin! Beautiful jar, wonderful condition for being 53 years old! Please click on the thumbnails or use the photo slide show to enjoy a better view of jar, then, click the “add to cart” button!

NAPCO: Cookie Castle CJ. Underside marked as “NAPCP BEDFORD OHIO” and dated 1961. This is was long before the company moved to Florida. No chips or cracks and a very teeeeeenie tiny amount of cold paint loss. Nothing to really mention. Overall, the jar is very clean, another probably never used jar, and in superb condition for the age. Notice the cookies above the door the guard is watching over.
