Red Wing Bananas Collector Cookie Jars. Sort of a turquoise ~ green color, really nice collector cookie jar. The only matter I see to mention here is that the lid rim has two extremely fine “lines” that you can’t feel but must be under the glaze hairlines. They barely show in the photo. I’ve circled the 2 spots for you to see. They look like two brush hairs stuck in the material, to me, but consider that they are under glaze hairlines. Marked on the underside, very difficult to see impression in photo that says “Red Wing”. Otherwise, there are no other cracks or chips to this beautiful, highly collectable jar. I do like this jar better than McCoy’s version of the bananas. Difficult color to find at a real great price. Casper on Train by Star Jars Collector Cookie Jar Here he is! Number 407 out of 750 produced. See the photo showing bottom-side. I’m betting that quite a few of these jars no longer exist due to damage in the home or shipping. Not to worry! We pack for earthquakes! Mint condition, unfortunately he does not have his original box. Great colors, great condition, no chips or cracks, wonderful like-like detail of one of our favorite cartoon characters that we baby-boomers all grew up with. This is a VERY large, heavy jar. McCoy Kittens On Yarn Ball Collector Cookie Jar; Superb jar for color and condition. While most of the detailing on this jar is cold-painted as with many of these vintage jars, much of the cold-paint remains! Even the lettering “Three Little Kittens” remains! I only noticed a couple of very small spots on the reverse that were missing paint on the kittens. No chips, no cracks or any other after-market damage. If the jar is crazed, due to the colors, it’s difficult to see. Inside, the jar is VERY clean indicating to me that it was highly unlikely that this jar was ever used but was simply a decorator item in someone’s kitchen. There is no trace of crumbs or cookie grease! Very difficult to find any of these vintage cold-painted jars in the superb condition that this one offers to share its brilliance in your collection! Appropriately marked on the underside as “McCoy USA” and inside as well being stamped with the artist’s initials who decorated the jar at the McCoy plant. Abingdon Little Old Lady Collector Cookie Jar; Marked on the bottom “Abingdon USA” and the impressed number #471″. This jar is in superb condition sporting great colors. Nice high quality “ring” when you tap it, sounds like the ring of fine china. No chips, no cracks or any after-market defects. Crazing is very light and this jar is VERY clean. May well have been just a shelf-sitter for most or all of her life! What more can I say? Abingdon jars have been highly sought after in the world of collectors for many, many years! Fred Flintstone: Collector Cookie Jars by Certified International Corp. Singed on the bottom, “Hanna Barbera Productions, Inc. Certified International Corp.” Great colors & great detailed likeness of the cartoon character we baby boomers grew up watching & to love. Very large jar! No chips or cracks.
