Metlox: Bunch of Daisies Collector Cookie Jar. Very attractive jar; a bunch of daisies tied at the bottom with a yellow bow. Tie a yellow ribbon around the daisies instead of the “old oak tree”! A little known but an upcoming collectable with a lot of recent focus! This one is in super condition, signed on the bottom “Metlox Poppy Trail Calif”. It is signed however, the impression is not very deep so it will not show up well in the photo. No chips, no cracks or hairlines. Phillips Snowman Collector Cookie Jar. Maker actually unknown, but I would believe this was a custom made, one of a kind jar made exclusively for a family with the name “Phillips”. Is your family name Phillips? If so, this is a must have …. You can boast to your friends how important you are since your name is on a custom made cookie jar! The images including the snow is done in a sort of raised “relief” style that you can actually feel. No chips, no cracks or other damage. The scene is set with a snowman standing amidst pine trees, sort of like the scene on the animated Rudolf the Rednosed Reindeer kiddy show with Burl Ives while it snows. You can see the snow settling down on the land, the trees and snowman. The edge of the base rim, the lid edge and knob is adorned with a spongeware style mottling. Very heavy, substantial, attractive jar! C’mon Mr. Or Mrs. Phillips, buy this jar for your pride and display! Regal China: Humpty Dumpty Collector Cookie Jar with Gold trim. Yes! This jar has gold trim, all intact! In photos 2 & 3, you can see the reflection of the gold leaf on the background behind the jar. This is a very large & very heavy jar. No chips, cracks or other damage. Bottom is impressed stating “Humpty Dumpty # 707″ quite clearly. Very closely resembles the Abingdon Humpty Dumpty, except he’s got a yellow “brick wall” base rather than a red “brick wall” base as this one does. One of the great collectables, Humpty Dumpty, this guy would make a great accent piece in baby’s room. Highly sought after by novice as well as advanced collectors.
