~RARE JAR ALERT!~ Artistic Potteries, Inc. Black Chef Collector Cookie Jar! Here he is in all his aqua colored glory! Rare and very difficult to find and even rarer and more difficult to find as this little guy is without chips cracks or other damage. Bottom appropriately signed “Artistic Potteries Inc Calif 30”. On the underside as you can see in the photos, there are a couple of glaze / color skips from during firing when the jar sat on the stilt in the kiln. This does not affect the value of the jar since this is a factory thing as many jars have this. These jars were not expected to last and become the collector items that they are today. In general most of these jars had flaws from slight color differentiation on parts of the jar to things like these glaze skips. This jar is damage-free. Solid jar with a nice ring to it. This jar is one of the holy grail of collecting cookie jars! Book value on this little guy is between $1000 – $1300. Not here! Grab him up at this price!!
