Brush Happy Clown Collector Cookie Jar

Brush: Happy Clown Marked on the underside “W22 Brush USA”. This is NOT a reproduction but he IS one of the cleanest & most colorful examples of this particular jar that I have ever seen. Very nice, original, shiny finish. Great colors! Nice, clever details….look at the “stitched patch” on the rear of his pants! Very clean jar. No cookie grease. No chips, no cracks or hairlines. Base has a nice ring as it should when tapped. The jar does have a couple of factory flaws; there are some glaze pops noticeable in the photos on his pants. They appear as pin point lighter brown spots. Nothing terrible to report but we just want to mention them. There’s also a spot where the pottery shrank during the firing process and it appears as a crack on the rim of the lid. Its not a crack and is glazed over. I don’t think he was used very much & certainly not abused at all. This is a very large, very tall, fantastic vintage 50’s jar. He’s a MUST for anyone’s collection! A well cared for jar!
