Hi, Offered here is a copper base to an oil lamp c 1890. There aren’t any holes in the metal in spite of the oxidation and some rust that you see. No leaks. The total height of this piece to the tip of the burner is just about 13 inches. This needs some copper polish a chimney, a shade, a wick and some TLC. Originally, this may have had a 9 – 10 inch diameter ball shade, or, half shade. Either one would look great set off by the copper base. The cap is included with this as can be seen in the photos. The copper content is worth quite a bit on its own merit!
