CORN by METLOX COLLECTOR COOKIE JAR

Description

I believe this one is called the “Harvest Gold” kernel color. Bunch of corn from the Fruit & Vegetable line offered by Metlox in the 1960s & 70s. Signed on the bottom “Made in Poppy Trail Calif.” It does show on the bottom in one photo that I had to seriously enhance to help make it show better. I’ve put a black circle around the signature. NO Chips, no cracks, no hairlines or other damage! This is a beautiful and very realistic appearing “bunch of corn”. The visual expectation has been met with excellence in that there are supposed to be several ears of corn tied together at the top by their green leaves. Great for that “country kitchen” look / decor. Nice fall harvest table centerpiece! Great gift idea!  Just another wonderfully detailed jar by the company that was well known for excellence and detail …. Metlox!
