Description

Another really hard to find jar! Most people when they see it don’t know this jar! Unmarked, but, its made by Pottery Guild. Very colorful jar of a boy holding fruit while kneeling atop a large round basket (the cookie jar) underneath him. Very nice condition, no chips, no cracks, no hairlines or other damage. If you look closely at two of the photos, I’ve circled two spots of significant relevance & pointed to them with an arrow. These two spots are a “tag” on the rim of the base, and the “locking counterpart” on the lid. This was designed to help “lock” the lid on the jar and keep it from being turned.  Really a very beautiful jar. Would make a nice Spring or Fall table display! Would make a nice theme item for a child’s room, too! Nice colors, nice item to sit by itself or in the company of other jars!
