GONE WITH THE WIND MAMMY (DARK BLACK) ~HATTIE McDANIEL~ by THE HEIRLOOM COLLECTION

Hi, offered here is the Heirloom Collection Mammy jar, the image of Hattie McDaniel as she appeared in the movie Gone With the Wind when she was showing off the new petticoats that Rhett bought her. The details on this jar are wonderful looking  just like Hattie as she appeared in the movie! This is the darker black skin jar, and, MUCH more difficult to find than the lighter skin Mammy jar. The paper tag on the underside is missing. No chips, no cracks, no hairlines or other damage. She might be a bit dusty but she will be cleaned for you. This is a fresh attic find! Very difficult to find jar, esp now with E bay not allowing the sale of Black Americana items any longer.

It will soon be 82 years since the movie debuted in 1939. Sadly, we just lost the last surviving member of the cast, Melanie Hamilton, who was played by Olivia De Haviland.  She was 104 years old!
