McCoy Jack O Lantern / Pumpkin Collector Cookie Jar

McCoy Jack O Lantern (Pumpkin) Collector Cookie Jar….One of the rarest and most difficult to find jars in any condition! This jar has superb two-tone coloring and in great condition. Only one tiny flaw shown in the photo displaying the underside the lid. I’ve put an arrow to the spot. There is a fine hairline about 1/2 an inch long , and finer than a hair. About impossible to see on the front without a magnifying lens and the reverse as you see its hardly visible. Almost doesn’t show in the photo. Otherwise no chips or other cracks. The smile and right eye (in the photo) have a couple of factory glaze pops that show as small white spots. Actually, these glaze pops help the jar look more realistic since a real pumpkin has lighter highlights inside the smile!  Signed “McCoy” on the underside. This is the real McCoy! Love this jar!!!  I watched two of these jars around Halloween time sell on online auction for nearly $500 each and both had several large visible chips and cracks. This jar is one to be proud to own. The lid shows several color tones from lighter to darker blending well with the base to highlight the base. Very solid super show piece. This is the one with the lighter orange lid and green tip stem. We may soon have the one with the green lid available so do keep watching for that one too!
